For musicians

Create verifiable evidence for your music before you share it.

StampR creates a verifiable certificate linking your authorship declaration to the exact digital fingerprint of your track and an EU-qualified electronic timestamp.

Your first certificate is free with an account. Additional certificates are €6.80 each. No subscription required.

When to use it

Every time a track leaves your hands, leave a record first.

Beforeyou send a demo to a label, manager, or collaborator.
Beforeyou upload a release to a distributor or DSP.
Beforeyou pitch a track for sync in film, ads, or games.
Afteryou finish a new version worth keeping on record.
Aftera co-writing session, to create a dated record of the version and the declared contributors.
How it works

Three simple steps.

01

Select your file

Drop a WAV, MP3, stem session, or project archive. It is fingerprinted in place; the audio itself stays with you unless you choose to store it.

02

Declare authorship

State that you are the author and name any co-writers. Your declaration is bound to the file's exact fingerprint.

03

Receive your certificate

An EU-qualified timestamp seals the moment. You get a serialized PDF you can verify by its QR code any time.

A real StampR certificate showing the serial number, SHA-256 fingerprint, QR verification code, and eIDAS timestamp.

A real, serialized PDF, not a screenshot. Certify a WAV or an MP3 and this is the document that comes back.

QR verification. Anyone can scan and confirm the record independently.

Privacy

Your master never has to leave your desk.

  • the original file is not stored by default. Certification runs on the fingerprint alone.
  • anyone who has the original file can verify that it matches the recorded fingerprint, without StampR storing the audio.
Read the fine print

What the certificate proves, and what it does not.

Honesty is the point. A timestamp is powerful evidence, not a magic shield. Here is exactly where the line sits.

What it proves

  • the exact fingerprint of this specific file, down to the last byte.
  • your declaration of authorship as you stated it.
  • a certified date and time under EU-qualified eIDAS timestamping.
  • the integrity of the timestamped data: any later change is detectable.

What it does not do

  • it does not create or register copyright.
  • it does not prevent anyone from copying your track.
  • it does not replace contracts or split sheets with collaborators.
  • it does not collect or administer your royalties.

FAQ

The questions musicians actually ask.

Is this copyright registration?

No. Copyright exists the moment you create the work. StampR does not register or grant copyright. It creates dated, verifiable evidence that a specific file existed and that you declared authorship of it at a specific moment, which strengthens your position if authorship is ever questioned.

Does this stop someone from stealing my track?

No tool prevents copying. A StampR certificate provides dated, verifiable evidence that your exact version existed and that you declared authorship of it at that moment. This can support your position alongside project files, messages, contracts and other evidence if authorship is disputed.

Can I certify an unreleased song?

Yes, and that is the ideal moment. Timestamp a demo, a stem session, or a rough mix before you send it to anyone. Creating the record before sharing your track may make it more useful if authorship is questioned later.

Can I add co-writers?

The declaration records the authorship you state at certification. For shared works, name every contributor in the declaration. A certificate documents what was declared; it does not replace a split sheet or a written agreement between collaborators.

What happens if I change the file?

Any change, even a single re-export, produces a different fingerprint, so the new file will not match the certificate. Each version you want on record gets its own timestamp. That is a feature: it proves exactly which version existed when.

Can I use it outside the EU?

The timestamp is a qualified electronic timestamp under EU Regulation 910/2014 (eIDAS), with defined legal standing across the EU. Outside the EU, the certificate remains technically verifiable, while its legal treatment depends on the applicable jurisdiction.
