Privacy and protection
StampR does not collect or store the original files unless you explicitly choose “Save uploaded file”. Certification uses only the cryptographic fingerprint (SHA-256). We process data in accordance with GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

Does this certificate prove I am the author?
It provides evidentiary weight, not absolute proof. The certificate proves that you declared authorship of a specific file at a specific date and time, and that the file has not changed since. Combined with other evidence (drafts, communication, publishing history), it significantly strengthens your legal position.
What is a qualified electronic timestamp?
A qualified electronic timestamp (QeTS) is issued by an accredited Trust Service Provider under EU Regulation eIDAS (910/2014). It cryptographically binds your file's SHA-256 hash to a precise date and time, and has legal evidentiary value in all EU member states.
Does StampR store my file?
No. StampR computes the SHA-256 hash of your file server-side and immediately discards the file content. Only the hash, your declaration details, and the timestamp token are stored. Your original work stays private.
What file types can I certify?
Any digital file: documents (PDF, DOCX), images (JPG, PNG), audio (MP3, WAV), video (MP4), code archives (ZIP), and more. If you can hash it, you can certify it.
Is the certificate valid in court?
The qualified eIDAS timestamp has legal evidentiary value across the EU. It does not guarantee a court outcome, but it provides a verifiable, tamper-evident record that supports your claim. StampR certificates have been recognised in IP disputes in Bulgaria.
The certificate serves as evidence of authorship with a qualified timestamp and can be used before any court or administrative authority in Bulgaria and throughout the EU. It is issued in line with Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 (eIDAS) and the Bulgarian Electronic Document and Electronic Certification Services Act.
